QUALITY POLICY

 

Dalgety is the manufacturer of 100% natural, strong-tasting herbal teas; natural drinks and condiments.

 

Our raw materials are ethically sourced from small co-operative farm operations throughout the Caribbean and other parts of the world.  We work to high standards and closely with farmers to ensure that our raw materials are processed in the right and timely manner thus guaranteeing the highest quality in transit to the end-user.

 

We are committed to continuous improvement by visiting farmers at least three times a year to certify that work is carried out within the procedural guidelines that Dalgety Quality Policy.

 

We utilise state-of-the-art tea bagging technology and management systems that ensure that the maximum quality of customer services and production systems are adhered to.

 

The following procedures are in place to ensure consistent delivery of our products to set standards:

 

·                     Regular gathering and monitoring of customer feedback;

·                     Training and development for all staff;

·                     Detailed procedures are made available to all staff via a Process and Quality Manual.

 

We have the following processes and procedures in place to meet our policy of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction:

 

·                     Measurement of the effectiveness of any training given to employees;

·                     Measurement of the performance of our suppliers against set criteria;

·                     Regular management reviews;

·                     Monitoring of customer complaints.

 

We induct all our staff on quality procedures as contained in the policy when they join.  Our customers have access to our policy through our website.  We also expect our suppliers to have their own policy and for it to embrace the philosophy of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.

 

The Managing Director is ultimately responsible for quality.  However, all employees are liable to ensure quality within their areas of responsibility.

 

Whilst our policy is reviewed at our annual Management Executive Meetings, its effectiveness is measuring during our day-to-day monitoring of our quality management system and any changes made are communicated as necessary.
